How do I join?

Individual Member

• Fees: $150 CAD.
• Individual members active in their profession are entitled to access all the documentation available on CIAJ's website (conference and seminar papers and video recordings among other benefits).  (This membership fee is recoverable by federally-appointed judges under s.27(1) of the Judges Act.  It may also be possible for provincially-appointed judges and others to be reimbursed through professional allowances from their oganizations. 
• Entitled to receive copies of the newsletter periodically.

Retired Person

• Fees: $75 CAD.
• Members retired from their profession have the same access as individual members.

Student

• Fees: $10 CAD.
• Members enrolled as full-time students have the same access as individual members.

Contributor

• Fees: $155 CAD and more.
• As an alternative to annual membership dues, you may choose to become a contributor. You will be issued a tax receipt for charitable donation. (Reg. #10686 1529 RR 0001).
• Entitled to receive copies of the newsletter periodically.

Institutional Membership

• CIAJ offers institutional memberships for corporations, law firms, government entities, administrative agencies, faculties and other organizations. An institutional member may designate individuals within the organization to participate in particular CIAJ activities. This will allow them to attend CIAJ conferences at preferential member rates as well as to attend other CIAJ events.  Members listed under the institution will also receive all CIAJ publications that are distributed electronically.
