Dialogues on Judging

The Canadian Institute for the Administration of Justice joins with the National Judicial Institute, the Canadian Judicial Council and the Office of the Commissioner for Federal Judicial Affairs to promote a strong and independent judiciary with educational activities tailored specifically for judges.

This program explores approaches to decision-making and principles of judging among experienced trial and appellate judges. This reflective analysis examines the possible effects of one’s experience, background and other factors on the judicial process so that judges become more aware of what influences their decision-making and relationships with others.
